> [!tldr] Grandma Parker Recipe 👵📖 > This is a shared recipe from Grandma Parker. # Gmas Peanut Butter Cookies Gmas Peanut Butter Cookies //Makes about 4 dozen// * 1 C shortening (crisco) * 1 C pb (creamy) * 1 C sugar * 1 C brown sugar * 3 C flour * 2 teaspoons baking soda * 1/4 teaspoon salt * In a mixing bowl combine shortening, pb, and both sugars. Add 3 eggs, one at a time. * In another bowl combine flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to peanut butter mixture. * Spoon or scoop out the mix and roll out 1-1/2 inch balls, placing them 3 inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet. * Once you have them laid out on a cookie sheet dip a fork in some flour and push the cookies down with the fork twice making a sloppy checkerboard pattern on top of the cookies. * Bake at 375 for 10-15 minutes
