# § #Recipes/Dessert #Recipes/Snacks # Rice Krispies Treats <% tp.file.cursor(2) %> Rice Krispies Treats 1 pkg; 10 oz regular marshmallows (about 40) or 4 cups miniature marshallows 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal 1/4 cup maragrine vegetable cooking spread Melt margarine in a large saucepan over low heat. Add marshmallows and sitr until completely melted. Remove from heat. Add cereal. Stir until well coated. Using greased spatula, press mixture evenly into 9x13 pan coated with cooking spray. Cut into squares when cool. Notes Use fresh marshmallows for best results Microwave Melt margarine and marshallows for 2 minutes in microwave. Stir to combine. Microwave 1 minute longer. Stir until smooth. Add cereal. Stir until well coated. Press into pan as directed in step 3.
