Cheese Sauce
//From 'Stuffed Peppers, Rice' recipe//
* 2 tbs butter, melted
* 2 tbs flour, stir with butter
* 1-1/2 c milk add slowly
* 1/3 tsp paprika
* salt, pepper to taste
* stir til thick & smooth
Crispy Salmon Sauce
//Sauce used to Season the Salmon//
* lemon juice
* honey
* yellow mustard
Gma Parker Cream Base
Medium Cream Base
2 tablespoons of butter
2 tablespoons of flour
1/4 teaspoon of salt
1/8 teaspoon of pepper
1 cup of milk
Melt butter, turn off
Whisk flour, salt, pepper and milk
Thick Cream Base
1/4 cup flour
1 cup milk
Thin Cream Base
1 tablespoon butter
1/2 to 1 tablespoon flour
Gmas Gravy
bullion powder for gravy
flour water, mix first
Lemon Grilling Sauce
1/2 cup lemon juice
1/2 cup water
2 tbsp. sugar
2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp. prepared yellow mustard
1 tbsp. corn starch dissolved in 1/4 cup cold water
1/2 tsp. lemon pepper seasoning
1/4 tsp. salt
* Combine first five ingredients, stir to mix together, and bring to a light boil.
* Reduce heat and add cornstarch mixture, lemon pepper and salt stirring constantly for 2 minutes over medium heat until thick.
If you desire a thicker sauce, add more cornstarch.
This sauce makes a great grilling glaze for pork and chicken.
