Sure enough, not only are The Wallflowers coming to Wisconsin, it's the Bringing Down the Horse 30th Anniversary Tour! Never in my life have I been so happy to feel so damn old. Bringing Down the Horse was a definitive album of my childhood. It was one of the first albums I got into "front-to-back". I always had such an affinity for Jakob Dylan and his lyrics. He seemed like he was hiding something dark just below the surface, or that he was unhappy, and I really related to that. I've seen him before at Wisconsin State Fair probably 15 years ago, and had a hell of a good time during that concert. The concert this time is at Pabst Theatre and will have The Wallflowers playing the entire celebrated album in order, in its entirety. Not only that, but they will also be performing a Tom Petty LP: "Long After Dark".
