In the back of my head, and with the help of a few other fine souls I've lauched my new website. I've been getting thing setup the last few months and this post is your official invitation to come over to my new domain and see what's going on. I invite all of you to come check things out, add things, read things, and share ideas with each other. The domain is called **Vanilla Tree**. I have six main areas (and subdomains) for the site, and they are: **[Wiki:](http://wiki.vanillatree.org/index.php?title=Main_Page)** Everything can be found here. If you have animals, please add information about them or their care, so others can follow the wonderful care rules that you do. Or make a page about the colour of your socks, and which you prefer. [Anything!](http://wiki.vanillatree.org/index.php?title=Current_events) It's a wiki. Think Wikipedia (its the same plaform as well!). Basically add and edit anything you want. I also encourage Windows users to add their favorite applications like I've been compiling with DJ Loche on [this page here](http://wiki.vanillatree.org/index.php?title=OS_X:_Application_Directory). **[Community:](http://community.vanillatree.org/)** These are "digg like forums" in AJAX. Meaning you know about vBulletin, phpBB, etc, other sorts of forums. Vanilla (the platform that runs the community) is a AJAX system that puts the recently commented on posts or topics at the top of the page. After making an account you can "sink" and "rate" posts, so they change how their displayed on the main page. Please consider making an account and joining our random discussions. Add a whacky license plate you've seen or a bumper sticker. Lets chat! **[Field:](http://field.vanillatree.org/)** This is my blog. I cover mac stuff, getting things done, and things on the web. You know how blogs are. And this one here is where I get my blog on. **[Browse:](http://browse.vanillatree.org/)** This is a filebrowser for my domain. I've also got images [from my camera](http://browse.vanillatree.org/index.php?fpp=10&did=1) on there, and [free PDFs](http://browse.vanillatree.org/index.php?fpp=10&did=1) for getting things done. **[Childfree:](http://childfree.vanillatree.org/)** [absolved](http://absolved.livejournal.com/)'s blog about the childfree lifestyle. This is the newest part of the domain so the content is still growing as we speak. **[Shout:](http://shout.vanillatree.org/)** A shoutbox.
