work was slow as hell! when i got to work i was all excited cos I saw jill there, but she was working 2nd. thought maybe i could be able to get out of a night with sally. not that i have a problem with her, but its just always nicer to know there are no supervisors in the building. jill said "i got two monitors for you in my trunk". **score!** she just gave them to me for no money! i hooked one up right when i got home. they are both 15" i think. i wanted anything other than the **21" super-huge monitor** that i had hooked up. its nice and big and all, but it was a little too big for my desk. couldn't turn it and what not. **thanks jill!** she's giving them to me because she wants to get rid of them and i assume to piss off the owner of them (her soon-to-be-ex-husband) i invited my sister to LJ, but i didn't get any word back... darn! i hoped to weave her into this fine community before the [MySpace](I WOULD NEVER LINK TO THAT DOMAIN!!!) sucked her in. the new schedule is not up yet for this week. brian asked mary when it would be and he got a little bit of a snappy reaction. well come on! for christ sake its **fucking tuesday**, some of us would like to know when we work next week! just another reason why i need to mind elevate and get the fuck out of there. **[hell's kitchen](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hell%27s_Kitchen_episodes_%28U.S._-_Season_3%29) starts next monday.** we are going to have a pool for it at work. wikipedia already has the [cook names of the contestants online](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hell%27s_Kitchen_episodes_%28U.S._-_Season_3%29#Contestants). i need to go to the bank this morning and get some shit done. not much aside from that. i've modified the lights for lenin's uvb bulbs, in a hat-tip to the coming summer. lenin seems pretty excited about moving, he's filed several complaints about the level of noise over the weekend when i'm gone. brian and i are currently in discussions of creating a [new championship belt](http://www.flickr.com/photos/mesh/503181942/), and having it actually something that's competed for. some WWGD? (what would gordon do?) i suppose i'm going to lock & load and get into some applescript. probably shower first, i smell like food. also need to find out what new albums came out today. _manson is next week!_
