i made the ungodly mistake of running an applescript over my itunes library to delete all "missing" or "dead" files (the ones with the ! mark). that's fine and all, but after quite a bit of time a dialog box came up that said "500 songs checked" and then it went away. if that's any indication of how long it will take, i'll be approximately 147 years old when its done going over my library of over 25,000 songs. heh. it will be nice when its done tho!
