weekend was alright. we didn't get into anything too much fun. we played [civ4](http://www.civ4.com/) on saturday night over brandy and coke. it was alright. queen went to war, against arabia. she wasn't expecting the defense she got but she eventually toppled them. we stayed here, and i don't think she really wanted to. ended up sleeping later on sunday, so hopefully next weekend will be a little more eventful; and enjoyable for her. work was pretty tiresome. despite the total there sure the hell was a lot of [clone work](http://wiki.vanillatree.org/index.php?title=Dialect#Clone_Work). i really do hate coming into a shift with a pile of orders waiting for me, or approaching the horizon. actually that by itself isn't all that bad, hell thats what i suppose i'm there for in the end anyhow -- but when its in the conditions that i walked into; then it becomes instant fuck. that's right, **instant-fuck**. it was a new triple threat that i suppose i should get used to. sally and gary. gary is the new [harlan](http://www.flickr.com/search/?q=harlan&w=53991500%40N00&m=tags&s=int). his last day (harlan) is friday. what a shame to see the man go. i'm not even going to mention my wedding to him, because i honestly do not think he would show. sally disagreed. she said that he would indeed show, but not with his wife. if anyone-at-work's family is going to mesh well with harlan, i would have to say it would be mine. we're about as down to earth as it gets, or at least the ppl i'll have here will be. going to [sendik's](http://www.sendiks.cc/) in a few minutes, soon as this is cashed. then i'll be off brookfield, getting lenin some good produce. i have to say tho, [tosa's sentry](http://www.sentryfoods.com/) really does give sendik's a run for their money and to be quite frankly honest; i'll probably not even go out to sendik's ones i'm a resident of milwaukee. they are really good don't get me wrong, but once in a while they can really be on that weak selection. i suppose i don't shope sentry enough to determine whether or not their always on that good-good inventory; but only will tell. plus sentry has collard greens. any store with a majority of white people shopping (and this no shocker at sendiks) do not seem to sell collard greens. makes [this](http://www.flickr.com/photos/mesh/tags/lvb/show/) fine russian tortoise angry! that's about all for now. i can't find a good cooking blog to subscribe too, nor an eclectic podcast that's no longer than five minutes.
