so my fling with \*nix didn't even make it to the initial screen. i thought maybe going to linux would be a good option for me because i'm obviously NEVER going to upgrade to Vista and that's where the DEV will all go within the next few years. XP will remain dormant, unhappy, and bloated. i'm very sad! i just wanted to play with it... sad mESH
