Before I say anything about anything I must take a moment to denote how strong two people very close to me are. My Mother-in-Law Jo-Ann, and my Wife Krystal are two of the strongest women, two of the strongest people that I have ever known in my entire life. There are not enough words to properly describe the strength I have seen these two wonderful people emit during these last few days which has been hard on everyone I know. I am doing everything in my power to see that I stay strong during this time. I'll bit my tongue if I have to, and I'll cut it off if necessary.
Perhaps you recall me [flipping my lid late last month](http://eshm.livejournal.com/535030.html) about this place I was going to apply at that said outright if you have tattoos or 'extreme hair colours' that your better off not applying than wasting your time. I applied to that place online, I'm sure you have all done something similar in the past, no? Well I started to fill out their online application and immediately closed out my web browser when I got to the point where it said the shit about the appearance requirements. Well something very odd happened...
I'm not sure how many applications I've tapped out on in the middle of filling them out. Well that is what happened with this place. Where things begin to turn odd started last Friday. Moments before leaving for work (21:30) I get a call from a number that didn't return any results on Google. I didn't answer and let it go to voicemail. I was a little curious as it was a local number (414) but nevertheless I just bundled up and went to work. Halfway through my shift I decided to check my voicemail...
It was that job. I never thought it would happen, but I guess if you fill out an application online, even if you don't finish it, whatever you DID complete is logged on their end. The restaurant manager saw that I started filling out an application and called me to find out why I didn't finish the application. He also furthered to say that I should finish the application so I can get in there for an interview.
So I did that Friday.
Nothing happens. All of Friday passed, I spent almost four hours making a completely revised edition of my resume. I go to work Friday not feeling it like I should for it being Friday. Then one of the worst series of days I've had in my life came to pass, and now here we are casted in the following work week. I get home from work this morning, screw around on my website for a few seconds and pass out.
I wake up today around 17:00 to have two voicemails. One from [sir\_tetra](http://sir_tetra.livejournal.com/) and other from the same number that called me Friday. The voicemail is from the same guy who called me Friday, telling me that he noticed I finished the application and that he wants me to come down and talk with him in the form of a formal interview. He also made suggestive comments that would lead one ot believe that they _really need help_ right now. He went as far as leaving his personal cell phone number, and said that I should give him a buzz.
So I did.
I'm going there tomorrow, anywhere from 09:00 - 19:00. He said he didn't want to screw up my schedule (he knows I'm third shift) and said to make it in anywhere in that window of time tomorrow for an interview. I assume that the closer to 09:00 I go in there the more it would seem I'm interested.
I hope for the best outcome.
