**Sixty-three-dollars-and-five-cents.** I thought a picture in cash form would help everyone realize how much it actually is. For so many of us it is just a swipe of a debit or credit card. Regardless depending on what you do for a living the picture of the cash represents at least a partial section of your days work. And if your a Gamer your more than likely fucking off sixty dollars in a systematic routine manner – a majority of the Tuesdays on any given calendar year.
[](http://openpluto.com/journal/wp-content/uploads/2011/04/Homefront-GS01.jpeg)Almost everyone knows Tuesday is when all the new stuff comes out. Games, Movies and Music all seems to come out on Tuesdays. Every once in a while you get someone who wants to be unique in some form or fashion and they have some odd-ended release date, but for the most part you know that "New Stuff Tuesday" is the general idea for marketing stuff to all us lovely consumers.
On March 18th I posted a **"Lets Get Homefront for Half-price"** article with the concept of of posting a series of posts that entail me scouring the internet looking for a newly released game called "Homefront" (a game that had seemingly a pretty large advertising campaign prior to release). Within days of its release you could find copies of the game for $45 dollars on Craigslist locally in my area (Milwaukee).
[](http://openpluto.com/journal/wp-content/uploads/2011/04/Homefront-MCL01.jpeg)Well its only moments into the morning of April and I'm kind of happy that this will be officially posted on the 2nd because this no April Fool's joke, it's **CASE CLOSED: We have found Homefront for Half- price for Xbox 360!** We could have posted this already back on March 24th, more than a week ago, but perhaps the seller on Craigslist was not then asking $30 dollars for the game.
So in **2 weeks and 3 days** from its initial release, we here at OpenPluto have found Homefront for Half-price ($30). We have contacted the seller to see if it still available. Seeing that the post has been there since the 24th, I don't know what that says about the game! When I searched for it on Gamestop earlier tonight I also noted that it only got a 6.0 User rating, which in regards to game reviews is pretty crummy. But what is horribly dismissed by one could be golden to another and that is why tracking stuff like this is so important to us here at OpenPluto.
Stay tuned as we plan to track many more games in the future as we hope to help you _Game for Half-price!_ **♇**
