Work has been odd for lack of better terms of description lately. I work in a very "don't ask, don't tell" establishment, and I've been doing all sorts of things to better communication among the staff. Keeping people in sync, asking question people would otherwise not ask. And it seems to make the place a whole lot more tolerable.
I've been trying to approach everything a little bit differently. Life and work.
And now I must work and focus on the Wife's birthday present. Nicole texted me earlier and said that the glass we bought is slightly bowed, but she doesn't think that it will be a bring-the-project-to-halt issue.
What can I do to make the Wife's life better today? Well she wants a hook hung in the closet opposite of where I hung her one a while back. I don't have any more of those hooks on hand so I'll take down one that I hung for myself and use it for her. Might be something small, but if it makes her happy, it is worth my time and effort.
