Worthy enough for a [Status post](http://status.openpluto.com/articles/3/finally), we seemingly are safely settling into Natty 11.04.  What a fucking nightmare!  I had more issues than I ever care to ever discuss, took three days of upgrading, downgrading, hopping architectures but in the end a simple package called "startup-manager" saved my day. Got the Wife all setup and going as well, but her lovely Acer still thinks her touchpad is a Generic PS/2 Wheel mouse.  Using a Logitech driver.  Meh.
