murdered some sticky lemon chicken last night with the wife.  i'm _fall down the stairs_ proud of how far along she has come along in the kitchen.  i'm thinking about that guy who was on food tube with jamie oliver talking about how he started a youtube channel basically showing his progress along in the kitchen as a home-chef.  i should do something like that as well.  disable comments and just let it ride.  it would be ultimate as well because it would be me doing it and i have been cooking professionally for thirteen-years. our bottle of aldi pinot noir had an issue when the houdini was met to the cork and it sort of just crumbled into bits.  so i experimented with riesling.  not bad considering i'm somewhat of a wine-snob for pinot.  i guess skipping down low to the aldi pinot for dinner and whatnot, the weekday stuff is not a good idea.  i'm going to have to make semi-irregular trips down to discount liquor or something, those guys really know their shit. work in a bit and the weather is supposed to turn to shit. several inches here and more over there. not going to be fun and the added bonus of needing to have that shit shoveled by thursday morning cos whatever is shoveled or not by the time thursday comes it will be frozen solid until the latest parts of the weekend. also worth mentioning is that the wife and i made some lemon bars with dinner as well. i'm really grabbing lemons with both hands and running with it, the wife said she digs that shit and so i'm going to try and _get down with the get down_ and let her enjoy the things in life she likes. ![CameraZOOM-20130129200503290.jpg](images/CameraZOOM-20130129200503290.jpg)
