Text the Wife during the workday yesterday and asked her if she wanted to randomly see a movie.  She responded normally but thought I meant something on the television.  But what I had meant was the theater   She was surprised, as this is normally something completely out of my character.  We went and saw the movie **Parker** at Mayfair. - It's not the size, it's how you use it. - I don't drink coffee after seven. - I don't steal from anyone who can't afford it, and I don't hurt anyone who doesn't deserve it. To get away clean you have to play dirty was one of the slogans.  IMDB says: "A thief with a unique code of professional ethics is double-crossed by his crew and left for dead."  Spot on.  The movie played the thriller genre well and made me fell good about taking my Wife out for a random movie on the town.  She was a little upset with me that I didn't walk her through the mall afterwards.  **Personal note for next time!** Jason Statham is a great actor.  The Wife and I are not into blow-them-up movies or anything like that, but we did see the Bourne movies in the theater and this movie felt Bourne-ish (in a good way) at times.  Guns, violence and lots of stuff going on but it wasn't like a dominating force, and all you could concentrate on.  I found myself rooted for Parker during the whole movie, as if his decisions were going to affect my life as well.  The suspense of his decisions, and the way he handled his business―left me well impressed with how well Statham played his role. Sequel please!
