I'm speaking unofficially but also from personal experience.  When charging your Android, obviously it is best to let it charge until the battery is full.  Sometimes this lands on inopportune moments in your day so a charge on-the-fly isn't unheard of.  I've found in my personal experiences that if you turn all the toggles off on your phone it sure charges a hell of a lot quicker.  I've had my phone plugged in for just over an hour and it was just past the "low battery" noise and dialogue box and it is already at 93%.  I've had my phone plugged in and charging while having everything on and sure havent' noticed nearly as much charging progress in a hours time. **Related link:** - [**Power Toggles (Google Play Store)**](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.painless.pc): Makes toggling easy as shit!
