Despite the fact that I had an incredibly hard time eating the dish, I made almond encrusted chicken last night off the menu from work for the Wife.  She enjoyed the shit out of it and if I may say so myself it may have been the best chicken I have ever cooked in my life.  Fucked tho rounds of toasting almonds, even setting off the firm alarm for a few seconds. Made "garlic mashed potatoes" but they we're a little runny for the Wife's preference but she said they where good tasting.  Steamed broccoli as well.  We are on a hunt for perfect mashed potatoes.  4 reds, 1/2 cup milk, three cloves of garlic, sour cream and dill.  Perhaps too much milk.  Used the Ninja stick blender! Used strained brown butter (are spots supposed to happen!?) and maybe too much lemon juice.  Regardless,  I did add our secret shaker to the flour for the breadish coating.   It was one of those dishes that should have gotten a picture, but didn't.
