There is actually a section about this covered in the NaNoWriMo book about how shit will suddenly get all fucked up right before your book is supposed to get underway.  Today and yesterday that become **mother fucking reality!**  Evernote decided to stop working for whatever fucking reason thru WINE on Ubuntu GNOME.  Fuck me, god-damn!  Suddenly the version of the Evernote I was using starting crashing every single time I launched it.  I had another version installed on a separate "virtual drive", but that version never worked properly.  It just didn't show the titles of the windows correctly.  Someone else has had the same problem.  I'm fucking trying to get the shit to work right now.  I have to install Windows FUCKING XP SP3 all all sorts of other bullshit that I really don't want to have to deal with right at this particular moment.  It is MOTHER FUCKING critical I have access to the desktop client of Evernote during the course of NaNoWriMo.
