Came home from work last night and tried really hard to get a couple thousand words out.  Just typed sentence after sentence and did the old Control+Backspace and kept deleting what I was typing.  Pretty much opposite of what #NaNoWriMo is all about.  It is the anti-Control+Backspace. So I saved one last time and closed out the application.  It more than likely could have been done, but I had so much happiness looking forward to getting a story done to sort of entail what I have been experiencing in my own life the last two or so years. Failure to do so just seems like a failed attempt at trying to enter a pissing contest of 50K words in thirty days.  I'm not a fucking author.  I don't read enough to be trying to write a book. Or maybe I do, I don't know.  2015 just wasn't the year. I haven't won NaNo since '09, not '06 like I originally thought. Just goes to show how some things get better, some things get worse, but most things just harden over and fall become part of your history.
