I can actually thank Microsoft for having me know who David Byrne is. They included a song of his on Windows Media Player back in the day and that is what got the ball rolling. Then Byrne did that song on the Wired album that was all about promoting Creative Commons - fell in love with that and it was what caused me to purchase all of his solo work up to the point of which I ordered them.
I love each and every album of his and while I no longer have them due to my recent divorce, I still have undying passion for everything this man does. From the beginning to the end of it. This is one of my favorite albums: [Rei Momo](https://play.google.com/music/m/Bb4aondlhwa5s2kqepnei23y2se?t=Rei_Momo_-_David_Byrne)
I went on as a fan of his for years before realizing he was the vocalist for The Talking Heads. That's just how things work out for me. For example, I didn't even start listening to Nine Inch Nails until I was in college.
