Cara really leaned into my character this morning. Rightfully so. She basically said you have this amount of money by the end of the week and this amount by the end of the month or you can take your shit and go. Not only that but she said that I am more than welcome to leave now and not pay her back a penny but never expect to be part of her life again. She had the smirk on her face, she had that look. I'm 85% percent sure she is done with this relationship. More remarkable news about getting a house in the future. She informed me that she never plans to have a house with me, it will be under HER name and HER name alone. While that doesn't necessarily make me not want to be with her anymore it definitely makes think two things immediately: If we ever were to marry I think one of those "prenups" or, however, they are spelt are in order, just to take the extra precautionary step that she wants to with her house. And secondly, even tho burns from the past are the cause for her not wanting to have a house TOGETHER - I'm not sure that I would want to have a child with her. If we are taking extra precautionary steps towards securing the "what-ifs" of our relationship, I will NOT, can NOT allow myself to raise a child in a broken home. I just won't do it. Even if that means not having a child of my own.
