So much shit going on man and while I feel like a mother fucking WordPress Original Gangster right now with all the stuff I'm reading on the web about _fuck WorPress_ but in all honesty I'm not sure if I've actually been "WordPressed" over the years of not.  Sort of used to the idea of having pages and whatnot.  I think WordPress would ultimately have to stay on the frontpage of OpenPLUTO cos otherwise it would just be bloggish. It keeps going to back to Google and doing searched like "self hosted [this](https://www.google.com/search?q=Self-hosted+Gho.st)" and "self hosted [that](https://www.reddit.com/r/selfhosted/)".  All this 'I'm moving to Jekyll which is a flat-file-CMS even tho "[fuck WordPress because it turned into a CMS](https://www.xplatform.rocks/2016/02/01/ghost-as-blogging-platform/)".'  In all honesty the only fucking reason I want to migrate away from WordPress is because of my newly found obsession with "true Markdown" syntax.  I've got it flowing all naturally now and with my newfound application Atom, I find myself actually doing stuff in there before I am adding it to Evernote.  Even the people trying to take out Evernote are Markdown friendly (Bear).  But **fuck Bear** because they're exclusive to the Cult of Mac. Without question the best solution for a Markdown-friendly blogging platform is Ghost.  Hands down.  It's UI is sexually attractive (almost having a Discord-like appeal).  [Still trying to figure all this nonsense out](http://karloespiritu.com/choosing-a-new-markdown-blog-platform/).  Fucking with an idea like Jekyll requires getting involved with RoR.  Fuck me running, that never seems to work out well for me. Furthermore about Markdown, IDKWTF WordPress doesn't allow it natively on self-hosted blogs because [they do on WordPress.com blogs](https://en.support.wordpress.com/markdown/).  Seriously WTF. **EDIT: node.js is no go on our host.**
