And it goes a little something like this, **HIT IT**
> Once again a moment or two must be set aside to pay homage to two of the most iron-clad employees of the Deli at our lovely Sussex store. Today after three o'clock only three people ran the deli. Which might seem like not too much of a daunting task standing from the outside looking in, but a quick glance at a customers face is quick to reveal that they do not share that same sentiment.

> Customers don't care who called in today, if your short-staffed or if you are having a bad day. A customer wants what they came there for in a timely fashion done by a person who is an enjoyment to do business with. If it's early morning they too are just waking up, if they are there at noon they are in a hurry and if we are honored to be in their company during the evening you can safely assume they too are blown out from work and just want to get home and see their families. They have stuff they need to get done today as well and being held up by any sort of improperly performed duties on our end isn't going to make them like us any more.

> Being razor-sharp for any incoming customers for 8 hours of any given day is a task in and of itself. Some people can do it, some cannot. Some come on strong and fizzle out quickly. When you come to work and find out that 75% of the people who were supposed to be at work jamming out what should be an otherwise normal Thursday night close has either called in or simply not shown up it's easy to see how quickly morale can fall along the way.

> The ability to have the odds stacked up against you and still go at customers with a smile and be willing to help them out in any way they need is a talent held by few. Meijer store 275 in Sussex was incredibly lucky this evening to have two people who hold this talent as natural extensions of their personalities. Without them on staff today our oncoming weekend would have been a failure before it had even started.

> It is a pleasure and an honor to put a hairnet on with any of my fellow Brothers and Sisters in our Deli but we have a handful of people who can turn charcoal into diamonds and Brad & Jessica are two fine examples of these incredible people that I have the privilege to work with.
