Up to my shoulders fed up with Alano's bullshit, but to quote haus directly: > Damn that's crazy, not sure if I'd cross paths with him tmrrw or not but I think I'm on 8-4. I'll just tell em if he's not gonna work then he can leave and if he's gonna stay then Sean or Doug or whatever M.O.D. is on will be ready to send him home if necessary. I really need a good close tmrrw tho cuz Gerald's walking Tuesday and we're both off. I understand the frustration but he's got 4 shifts left and he's history, fuck em. So fair enough and well said, four shifts to go. This shit is green light with my certification. We're all systems go on the 24th of July 2019. It will be a well-received and happy day for the company and all the people who will be involved with the situation. I just hope that I have not been allowed the freedom to adopt too many stupid fucking habits that Dennis not going to be hip to, or worse yet, that the head honcho himself tells me to pick up the pace and "yo you're working in a grocery store, not a hotel!" But we shall see nonetheless. Really in cahoots with Brian about true Tall Boy status on many different levels. I just need affirmation that there is a solid road ahead of him, because we lean on each other from time to time and I just need to know that there is enough battery power to allow his GPS to get him moving in the right direction because I'm almost certain I can keep the flow going and I'm only being hindered by living here in a place where being happy is not too good of an idea for the people who are living for the weekend. Today at work was also a symbolic and metaphoric and absolutely invisible \*\* dropping of the torch\*\* shall we call it, the way I watched the bakery set itself on fire and all the while no fucks were given to anybody until it was too late for anything to have mattered. This lady was standing there for a good twenty minutes while the overheads called for help to the Bakery twice. Those GM people need to recognize how poor that makes the Fresh Side look and until they're willing to roll up their sleeves and come help with some work they can keep their silly pages out of the sky. Shawn was there, she should have just called the Deli directly and had one of those miserable people deal with the paying customer. They've all felt much Doug seems to care about Doing Actual Work so there seems to be a level of fuck the whole fresh side going on in the store. Ryan the Kid called in yesterday and today and now has four days off. We're absolutely fucked in the main cooler for inventory tomorrow and there ain't no beating around the bush about that. In a perfect world I would have time to get us ready for that shit tomorrow night sometime, but we all know there will be no time for that bullshit. We're on day whatever the fuck of playing no video games. Rockstar did email me, however, to announce they have a soundtrack for Read Dead 2 out now and I listened to it and I gotta admit I thought about playing the game a little bit, but that all seemed to pass, but hot damn is that soundtrack fire. You could easily toss that into the mix with some older folk among some of the older twangy guitar country and authentic sounds of the Old West in whatever fashion and it would go down just like the alcohol I would assume everyone would be consuming during such an event. I really wanna get a Weber grill and start grilling shit at night just to give a whack and see how things behave, that is to say the things we sell out of our case and shit like that. I'm super curious even moreso how and why people seem to like chuck steaks so much and that is something I'm curious about trying. Like the whole thing, from start to finish. Have the meat sitting out here in the room with salt and pepper tucking itself into the fibers of the flesh while I parly some of this lovely [Academy of Ideas YouTube/website](https://academyofideas.com/) I stumbled upon last night. I'm curiously antsy for some reason, not sure why.
