# After Work 523 ```yaml title: After Work 523 published_date: 2013-05-24 00:00 ``` Ended up having to stick around all the way through first shift at the diner, and then the Health Department lady came in about 1 something and started poking around.  She took a whole different tone with me, even saying at one point "You're the one here that knows everything."  That's when I told her my foot halfway out the door, and that I'm hardly there anymore.  She remembers me, and I like that. Came home and power-cut the lawn, tidied up a bit and went to work.  Now that Vinnie is in charge of the kitchen there seems to be this imaginary line between us know and he sort of like wants me to keep the other two in line in the back.  Which is fine with me, I just don't like the imaginary line.  He gets to "hang around" after we are done and be there with Jason. Brian had chimed in both on Facebook and SMS.  Android blinking with all kinds of Brian after work.  Telling me that I was inspiring to him. Those things I've been saying on Facebook about kitchen work. Incredible. Also I got to talk to Bradley for just under two hours all about cooking. He really is getting down and it was so great to talk to him.  Wonderful indeed.
